Didn’t I tell you that Crispian Thurlburn made a book trailer for me?
Here it is!!! Doesn’t it look fantastic?
I’m very happy with it. Crispian caught the spirit and the setting of the story perfectly. I like the mood, that’s really what the story is about.
So what you think?
Trailers are a bit of a puzzle for authors. They are cool, but they don’t seem to really push a book. What do you think? Would this trailer help you decide whether to buy my book? I’m curious!
Remember that you’ll have a chance at winning a copy of my book (together with 13 others!) next Sunday 17 March, if you join the HISTORYTELLERS Scavenger Hunt. You can start the circuit from any blog… including mine.
Also, my book’s price will remain 0.99 all through the week until Tuesday 19. Just saying.

I love the trailer- the faux-silent movie style film, the smoke, Suzie. all those great film clips. I have no idea whether they work. Discoverability then conversion…. the great mysteries of our time. lol. Good luck!

I loved the idea of the silent film imediately. We actually tried a version with a voice over, but it didn’t work as fine.
Well, let’s see what this trailer with bring 😉

The trailer is good but now I want to see the movie. For me, it’s reviews that get me to read a book not a trailer. But I’m old-fashioned.

Yeah, I too think review are really importnat. That’s often what stirrs me toward a book, too.
I need to work on that too.
