Happy New Year, everyone! I hope your year started in the right way. Mine… well, yeah. Good enough.
I believe that the best way to start a new year is with a new project. So I began by working to The Frozen Maze (lots to work still to go) and with something new for my still new Facebook place: a book club!
I’ve so enjoyed being part of Litsy the past few months. I’ve never imagined being part of a reader group could be this fun and motivating. So I thought, what if there were a book club devoted to stories set int he 1920s, where we could share and talk about what we like most.
And ta-daaaa!!!! Here comes the 1920s Book Club.
Come on, join! I’m sure we’ll have a ton of fun!
I plan to have readalongs, as we do on Litsy, maybe reading challenges, and since there are authors too, why not interview and other writerly stuff? Giveaways? I hope so.
And certainly, we can share our reviews, our discoveries, our purchases. I’m sure it will be fun!
Do come!

Congrats on your book club! Sounds like a splendid idea, and a great way to start off the new year. Based on your post, I checked out Litsy, but then got overwhelmed by the sheer “starting over on a new social book site” and left, heh. Looks pretty neat though. I might tackle it incrementally… 😉

Oh, Sara, did you join? What your handle there?
Yes, every new social may look overwhelming at the beginning, but Litsy is really very simple. Far simpler than many others. And it’s such fun!
I normally keep up with it on the train to and from work 🙂
